Radiological report

These findings indicate the presence of a mediastinal effusion, which can be accompanied or not by a mediastinal mass. The dorsal and lateral retraction of the lungs is indicative of mild pleural effusion.

The subsequent ultrasound study confirmed the presence of a pleural and mediastinal effusion, as well as of multiple masses in the cranial mediastinum. Citology confirmed the diagnosis of mediastinal lymphoma.
